On requestSCIM Provisioning
Create, update and deactivate learner accounts automatically from your identity provider with SCIM 2.0, and map groups to units. Available on request.
New hires in the academy, leavers out
Copying the employee list into the academy by hand takes time and leaves the accounts of people who have left still open. With the SCIM provisioning module, your identity provider (Microsoft Entra ID or a SCIM 2.0-compatible provider) creates, updates and deactivates learner accounts in the academy itself, and you can map groups in your identity provider to units in the academy. A deactivated person's training history and certificates are kept. The module is enabled for your organization on request and works with your organization's identity provider account; schedule a call to talk through the setup.
- No more manual user imports When a new employee is added to your identity provider, their academy account is created too.
- Leavers lose access A deactivated account's session ends on the next request; training history is kept.
- Units stay current Membership in a mapped group is reflected in unit membership.
What can you do?
-
SCIM 2.0 endpoint
A SCIM 2.0 endpoint with Users and Groups resources at your organization's academy address.
-
Create, update, deactivate
Learner accounts are created, updated and deactivated from the identity provider; a delete request also deactivates the account.
-
Group → unit mapping
You map a SCIM group to a unit in the academy; without a mapping, units do not change.
-
Secure access token
The access token is shown only once; creating or renewing it requires the admin password.
-
License check

-
Sync log
The last successful operation, the last error and sync records are shown on the admin screen.

How is SCIM provisioning enabled?
It is enabled for your organization on request. Schedule a call; once enabled, you create the access token and set up the connection in your identity provider.
Which identity providers does it work with?
It is designed to work with Microsoft Entra ID and SCIM 2.0-compatible identity providers; you set up the connection in your identity provider.
Which accounts are synced?
SCIM creates and manages learner accounts. Instructor and admin accounts, roles and permissions continue to be managed in the academy.
What if an account with the same email already exists?
The existing account is not linked silently; a conflict is reported to the identity provider. This prevents an account from being taken over by mistake.
