Visible progress drives motivation

In long courses, feeling that they are making progress is one of the main reasons learners keep going. The UZEM gamification module awards points (XP) for the activities you choose. As learners collect points they level up, earn badges for specific achievements and, if you enable it, see where they stand on the leaderboard.

Which activities earn points?

Points can be set for completing lessons, completing courses, passing exams, completing quizzes, submitting assignments, earning certificates and daily learning activity. Admins can also adjust points when needed.

Can points reveal exam results that are still hidden?

No. For exams whose results are not yet visible, points are not applied until the results are released.

Can I turn off the leaderboard?

Yes. You can manage the gamification settings to fit your organization's culture.
