Assessment & tracking

On request

Mandatory Training

Assign mandatory training to people or units with a due date; reminders go out on their own every day, and compliance rates and validity periods are ready in reports. Available on request.

Who must complete which mandatory training, and by when?

With mandatory training such as occupational health and safety, information security or ethics, the real work starts after publishing: tracking who meets the due date, reminding those who fall behind and bringing expired training back onto the agenda. The mandatory training module runs this follow-up for you. When you assign a course to people or to a unit, everyone is enrolled automatically, the due date and an optional validity period are recorded, and reminders go out on their own every day. Unit managers follow their team's status, and you export the compliance report as CSV, Excel or PDF. The module is enabled for your organization on request; schedule a call to talk through your needs.

  • Everyone knows their due date Each person sees their mandatory training and due dates on their own page.
  • Reminders are no longer a team chore Reminders are sent automatically every day as the due date approaches and after it passes.
  • Annual refreshers are not missed People are warned before validity runs out; expired and expiring records are listed in a separate report.
  • Managers follow their own team Unit managers see their team's compliance rate and overdue people in read-only mode and receive a weekly summary.

What can you do?

  • Assign to people or units

Assign a course as mandatory to selected people or to a unit; optionally include sub-units and people who join the unit later.

  • Due date

Set the due date as a number of days after assignment (1–365) or as a fixed date.

  • Validity period

Define how long the training stays valid (1–60 months); when it runs out, the record is marked “Expired”.

  • Daily automatic reminders

Email and in-app reminders before the due date, after it passes and before validity expires; a weekly summary for unit managers.

  • Exemptions and manual reminders

Exempt a person with a written reason or send a single person a reminder; actions are written to the audit log.

  • Compliance reports

Compliance status, unit compliance rate, overdue training and expiring/expired validity; exported as CSV, Excel or PDF.

How do we start using mandatory training?

The module is enabled for your organization on request. Schedule a call; once it is enabled, your admin turns it on and makes the first assignment.

When are reminders sent?

If you turn on reminders for an assignment, the system runs every day: it sends reminders in the days before the due date, on the last day, after the due date has passed and 30 days before validity expires. Reminders go by email, and also in-app if notifications are on.

What happens when the validity period ends?

The record is marked “Expired” and appears in the report and reminders. You decide when to assign the training again; the assignment does not renew itself.

Who can we assign mandatory training to?

Selected people or a unit, optionally including sub-units and people who join the unit later. Assignment works by person and unit, not by role.

Can we exempt someone from mandatory training?

Yes. An admin can exempt a person with a written reason; exempt people are left out of the compliance rate. Completed training cannot be exempted.
