Activation Codes

Turn your courses into time-limited training packages and generate single-use activation codes; whoever enters a code gets the package right away. Available on request.

Grant access to training with a code

Distribute access to training with a code: inside a book, in a campaign or as part of an agreement with a company. In the activation codes module, you build a training package with a set access period from one or more courses and generate single-use codes under a campaign. Whoever enters a code is enrolled in the package's courses right away; when the period ends, access closes on its own, while completion records and certificates are kept. People without an account open one together with the code; at this step their phone is verified with an SMS code. Activation codes are enabled for your organization on request; set up a call to plan your campaign.

  • Distribution without a checkout You grant access with a code, without a payment page.
  • No manual enrollment Whoever enters a code is enrolled in the package's courses automatically.
  • Access periods run themselves Access closes when the period ends; you never have to remove anyone by hand.
  • Controlled codes Codes are single-use, listed masked, and downloads are logged.

What can you do?

  • Training package

1–50 courses per package; access period of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, or unlimited.

  • Campaigns and code generation

Give a campaign start and end dates and a per-person usage limit; generate up to 10,000 codes at once in the background, with an optional expiry date.

  • CSV, Excel and QR cards

Download codes as CSV or Excel, or as print-ready PDF cards with QR codes in batches of up to 500; your password is asked again before downloading.

  • Signed-in and guest use

Signed-in learners enter the code; people without an account open one with the code, their details and SMS verification.

  • Managing unused codes

Cancel unused codes or move them to another package; access from used codes is kept.

  • My packages and report

Learners see the packages they unlocked and their end dates; the report shows codes generated, used and remaining per campaign.

Before and after

Frequently asked questions

The 5 most frequently asked questions.

Can't find the answer you're looking for?

Browse the help center or write your question to us.

How do we start using activation codes?

The module is enabled for your organization on request. Schedule a call; once enabled, you create your first training package and campaign.

Can one code be used by more than one person?

Each code is single-use; you generate as many codes as the number of people you want to give access to.

How does someone without an account use a code?

They enter the code; type their name, email, phone and password; and confirm with the SMS code sent to their phone; the account is opened and the package is activated. The SMS is sent through your organization's SMS account if it is on, otherwise through the platform's SMS account. The new learner account counts against your license capacity.

What happens when the access period ends?

Access to the package's courses closes; the person's completed lessons, completion records and certificates are kept. Access opened by a used code also closes at the end of this period.

Are there safeguards against guessing codes?

Codes are generated randomly and are not stored in plain text. The number of attempts is limited, and the same generic error is shown for invalid, used or expired codes.
